Wolfe, a beloved figure known for his passion for music and spirited personality, passed away on February 5, 2026, in Groves, Texas, at the age of 70. Born on April 28, 1955, Jerry spent his life sharing his love for classic rock while also embracing the hippie lifestyle, which enriched the lives of those around him.
Jerry is lovingly remembered by his twin daughters, Jeri and Teri Wolfe of Port Acres, who were not only the pride of his life but also the center of his heart. He is survived by his brother, Terry Wolfe of The Woodlands, and many cherished cousins and close friends who will carry forward his vibrant spirit.
Preceding Jerry in death are his parents, Alfred Lee and Ruby Lois Wolfe, as well as his lifelong friend, Randy Totten. These individuals held a significant place in Jerry’s life, shaping him into the person his family and friends adored.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Jerry's life will take place on February 21, 2026, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas. The gathering will begin at 2:00 PM and will conclude at 5:00 PM.
He will be remembered not only for his love of music and the joy it brought him but also for the warmth and love he shared with his daughters, reminding us all of the beauty found in family and friendship. Jerry G. Wolfe leaves behind a legacy that resonates through the melodies he cherished and the moments he enjoyed with those he loved.
