Jerry Wayne Womble

Our father Jerry Wayne Womble left this world on August 22, 2022, at the age of 63. An Edgecombe County native in the town of Tarboro, NC.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Edgecombe Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Vicky Taylor.
He was preceded in death father, Joseph N. Womble Sr and brother, Joseph N. Womble, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Marjorie K. Womble; daughter, Jessica N. Womble and her son, Myles W. Womble; and two sons, Jerry W. Womble II and Joseph W. Womble; all of Tarboro, NC.
He is survived by his two sisters, Wanda L. Baker, her husband Phillip Baker and their children, and Sandra K. Baker, her husband Ernest M. Baker III and her son, Nathaniel P. Cruse; his brother, Timmy J. Womble and his two sons; his niece and step-nephew, Valerie L. Womble Coombs and Jeremy Butler, all of Tarboro, NC.
His long-life partner of 27 years, Sheila Robbins of Washington, NC; his stepsons, Craig Boyd and Zachary D. Robbins of Washington, NC; and his four step-grandchildren. His four aunts, Janet Nelson of Robbins, NC, Myra Lemons of Camden, SC, Faydeen Nappen and Becky Norris of Lougoff, SC; and his cousins, Felicia Womble of Tarboro, NC, and Beverly Simpson of Conetoe, NC.
