Obituary
Jess Kimble Sr., age 78, of Algonquin, IL, passed away on August 15, 2023. He was born July 16, 1945 in Widener, AR to his loving parents, Jess F. and Marie (née Davis) Kimble.
Jess worked as a field service engineer for many years before retiring 13 years ago. He adored his wife, Priscilla; they were married for 34 wonderful years.
Jess had a great sense of humor and loved his family very much. He enjoyed camping, playing cards, and fishing with both family and friends. He always had stories to tell.
Jess was very proud to be a Pilgrim at the Carpentersville Moose Lodge 1958. He cared deeply about the Loyal Order of the Moose and the work they do.
Jess was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Webb and Carl Webb; sister, Charlene Vaden; and grandson, Matthew Kimble. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Kimble; children, Richard (Terry) Kimble, Jess (Jeannine) Kimble Jr., Michael (Deanna) Kimble; Paul (Laura) Basara, Cristy (DR) Periman, Kimberly Basara, Peter Basara, and Alex (Amber) Kimble; siblings, Lorraine Cook, Jerry (Lavada) Kimble, Tommy (Becky) Kimble, Annette (Dejuan) Brown, Bonnie Roach, Marie Roach, Helen Roach, Sheila Roach, and Buddy Roach; grandchildren, Drew, Felicia, Christine, Tiffany, Cassie, Erin, Tyler, Kyle, Savana, Makayla, Brooklyn, Chael, Zion, Kaighlen, and Aiden; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, nephews, and countless friends whom he loved dearly.
A memorial will be held from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Moose Lodge 1958, 309 Lake Marian Road, Carpentersville, IL 60110.
Interment will be private.
