Jesse Baca, 69 passed on August 22, 2024, at his home. He was born in Las Vegas, NM to Eligio, Sr. and Helen Baca.

Jesse was an amazing man. A perfect father, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle, and brother. He was known for his constant smile that lit up the room, his grit, and most of all his compassion for any living creature.

He would give you the shirt off his back, never asked for anything in return, and didn't know the meaning of no. it just wasn't in the man's vocabulary. Whether it was mechanic work, yard work, help moving, or someone needed a two or ride, he was always there. 

He loved the outdoors and enjoyed his truck and trailer with his loving mate and girlfriend. He enjoyed his 4-wheeler and removing the snow from our small circle for our friends and neighbors.

If we could use one word to describe Jesse it would be loving.

Jesse was loved by so many. He will be forever loved and missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.

May you rest in peace and be forever loved.

He was survived by his oldest daughter, Jessica Valdez, and her husband, George Madina (Spyder); son, Eric Baca; daughter, Ruth Lillian Baca, two brothers, Eligio Baca and Nepie Baca; and youngest, sister Ellie Baca; grandchildren, Sierra Valdez and Amber Valdez; great-grandson, Brent Valdez; and all of his nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Eligio Baca; his mother, Helen Baca; twin sister, Darlene Martinez; brothers, Joe Baca and Roger Baca; and grandson, Eddie Valdez III.

We will have a viewing and celebration of life and would love for all his friends and family to attend. Tuesday, August 27th from 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. Magna Main St., Magna, UT.
