Jesse Toland Breton, 46, of Gardner, MA, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

Born on March 31, 1979, Jesse was a lifelong resident of Gardner and worked as a dedicated laborer for Onyx Corporation. Known for his strong work ethic and deep love for his family, Jesse leaves behind a legacy of devotion and kindness.

He is survived by his parents, Alan and Paula Breton of Gardner; his brother, Todd Breton and wife Liz of Baldwinville; his sister, Jamie Lavoie and husband James of Worcester; his beloved daughter, Juliana Hagopian-Breton and her fiancé Michael Marro of Gardner; and his cherished grandchildren, Liliana and Dominic Marro, also of Gardner. Jesse was a proud uncle to his nieces, Anabell Ring and Teagan Breton of Baldwinville, and Ophelia Lavoie of Worcester. He will also be deeply missed by his longtime love, Christa Hagopian Pineda of Templeton. Jesse is also survived by his best friend, Kevin Goguen of Gardner, who was like a brother to him and stood by his side through every chapter of life, as well as his stepdaughters, Savannah Pineda and Ashia Pineda of Templeton, who brought him great joy and pride.

Jesse was a passionate football fan, known by all who loved him as the most loyal Detroit Lions supporter around. Whether cheering on his team or spending time with his grandchildren, Jesse’s presence was always full of heart.

Jesse’s life was filled with both joy and hardship. He battled addiction and mental health challenges, and while we wish his story had ended differently, we know that he is finally at peace. His memory lives on in all those who loved him deeply. He gave the biggest, best hugs—true reminders of how deeply he cared. His presence brought comfort, his laughter brought light, and his memory will forever bring warmth.

Family and friends are invited to the calling hours on Thursday, May 8th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mack Family Funeral Homes, 105 Central Street, Gardner. A funeral service will be held at 8 pm in the funeral home. As a no-frills kind of guy, Jesse would have loved nothing more than for those attending to come as they are—sports apparel or camouflage welcome.
