Jesse Dixon Obituary
Benson, NC: Mr. Jesse Kenneth Dixon, age 89 of Cobb Road passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Donald Sadler. The family will receive friends following the graveside service and other times at the home.
Mr. Dixon was born on May 22, 1936 in Wake County to the late Colon Livious and Edna Clifton Dixon. He retired from J. Don Johnson Hardware and Benson Auto Parts. Mr. Dixon was a master carpenter and very talented musician. He loved traveling with his wife, Penny on many cross-country bus trips and living the simple life on the farm.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Penny H. Dixon; son, Michael Dixon and wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Tara and Kristin Dixon; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Olivia, Elijah, Ella, Charlee, Zayne, and Vallie; special nieces, Becky Williams and Debbie Eason; and several other nieces and nephews.
