Born in Birmingham, AL, he was the husband of Pat Bright Duffie and the son of the late Jesse Arlett Duffie Sr and Evelyn Horton Duffie Orr. He retired as a truck driver.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons: Jamie Duffie (Amy), Timothy Duffie, and Jeff Duffie; a daughter, Deborah Cooper; numerous grandchildren including: Jesse, Lynsey, Shannon, Hailey, and Daniel Duffie; a great-grandson, Weston Guyton; and a sister, Cheryl Harvey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, David Steadman and Curtis Duffie; two daughters, Melinda Brown and Rhonda Duffie; two brothers, Mike and Timmy Duffie; and a sister, Judy Hughey.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st, 2025, at 5:00pm in the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel with Mr. Robert Cobb officiating.
The family will be at their respective homes.
