Jesse Thomas Heags Sr.
Was born May 16, 1954 in Bobo, Mississippi. He confessed his life at an early age at Mt. Moriah
Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J.C. Curry. Jesse was a very active young man, he loved to enjoy all of his family and friends. He was employed at the City of Portageville for 40 years. He also served at the Restaurant at the Holiday Inn Motel as a chef for 2 years.
Preceding him in death were his children, Gary, Jesse & Mandy Heags, also preceding him were 2 sisters, Ruby Stine and Daisy Heags of Alligator, MS, his brothers, Melvin Heags & Aurther Lee Heags, 9 Uncles, 1 aunt.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother and father, Ruby and Thomas Heags of Alligator, MS, his sisters; Bertha (Edgar) Brady of Cleveland, Ohio, Louise ( Willie) Caston of Alligator, MS, Rosie (Lester) Hogan of Alligator, MS, one step-sister, Joyce Calhoun of Clarksdale, MS, Evangelist. Mandy (Pastor Joe) Ringo of Alligator, MS. 2 daughters, Jesseca Heags of Sikeston, MO, Julie Mechelle Wallace of Caruthersville, MO, 3 sons, Jimmy Caldwell and Tony (Natasha) Heags both of Hornlake, MS and Tony Wallace of Portageville, MO, 4 step-daughters, Suzanne Tillman of Jefferson City, MO, Jo L. Green of Sikeston, MO, J.L. and Janel Johnson both of Cape Girardeau, MO. Special friends, Tony Smith, Darryl Hayes, Leonard Hall, Joseph Young, Scottie Vires, Bobby (Baby-D) Charles Brown, Roosevelt Mosby, Robert Nelson, J.L. (Bear)Matthew Trotter Jr. Freddie Holmes (Cousin). Sister-in-law, Debbie Heags of Clarksdale, MS, 17 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.
