Obituary of Jesse Jimenez
Jesse Jimenez, age 65, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Richmond, California. Jesse was born August 4, 1956 in El Paso, Texas to his loving mother Falipa, who went by Peep. He was the third child born along with his other siblings Carmen, Sarah, Victor, Rose, and Donny. Victor and Jesse were tied to the hip when they grew up together. He had so much love for his family. His mom and siblings moved to Chico, a place he always called home, when he was 8 years old. At the age of 19, he met the love of his life, Brenda. He shared so many memories of her with his first born and granddaughter. He saw so much resemblance in both of them. They never married. At the age of 20, he joined the national guard where he served for 20 years and made friendships he'll always cherish.
One of his favorite memories was when his father, Don Wood, taught him one of his favorite hobbies, hunting. Hunting became a big part of his life, as well as his friends, his family and kids. He had four amazing children, Amber (Kenny Rodriguez), Jessica, Sarah, and Victor. He would've been so happy to be here with his kids right now, all together He had such a big heart for all those he cared about. He had a big part in helping raise his grandchildren Jonathan, Alex, Fabian, Tiana, and Maricela.
Once he met a friend, they became friends for life. He knew how to put a smile on everyone's face and could make anyone's day better. And he touched everyone's heart. We'll always remember our memories with him, his goofy little smile, and that signature stache. But also we'll remember him as one of the most hardworking and caring men to ever walk on this earth.
To everyone here, his family thanks you for coming to help celebrate Jesse's life. After the service we will have a celebration of life at The Silver Dollar Fairgrounds.
