He was a retired bus driver for the Crawford County Community School Corporation for 43 years. He attended the Sulphur Pentecostal Church in Sulphur, Indiana.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda J. (Scott) Lutz; and a brother, James W. Lutz.
He is survived by sons: Timothy E. Lutz and Kevin L. Lutz (Alicia) both of Milltown, Indiana; daughter, Mindy J. Johnson (Bryan) of Sulphur, Indiana; a brother, Randall L. Lutz of Sulphur, Indiana; grandchildren: Brittany Key, Monica Hanks, Cori Lutz Petty, Lydia Lutz, and Emily Johnson; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, all at the funeral home.
Bro. Bruce Hawkins will officiate the service.
Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
