Abbeville-Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Jesse O'Bryan, Jr., 70, who died Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon William Vincent officiating the services.
If you were lucky enough to call him your friend or family you knew his love, kindness, and humble demeanor. He never met a stranger and was always quick to make life-long friends. He was a people person who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Jesse was an avid outdoorsman. In his younger days he was very athletic and a bodybuilder.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Angelle Greene O'Bryan; son, Todd James O'Bryan and his wife, Nichole of Abbeville; daughter, Talia O'Bryan Fitch and her husband, Jeff of Key West, Florida; three grandchildren, Alia O'Bryan, Aric O'Bryan, and Declan O'Bryan; three brothers, Ray O'Bryan, Randy O'Bryan, and Kenneth "Notsey" O'Bryan; brother-in-law, Marcus Greene and his wife, Tina; sister-in-law, Lana Joan Greene; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse O'Bryan and the former Lillian Milliman; two sisters, Judy O'Bryan and Jessica Delino; and three brothers, Michael "Black" O'Bryan, Todd O'Bryan, and Ricky Dale O'Bryan.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 8:00 AM until time of services.
