Jesse Anthony Rivera Jr. entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2025 at the age of 58. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Elpidia J. Sanchez and Juan T. Sanchez, Louisa M. Rivera, and Antonio Rivera. Brother in law; Eli Melander Jr. Aunt; Mary Helen Felan. Jesse is survived by his mother; Alice S. Contreras (Gilbert), father; Jesse A. Rivera Sr., sister; Cynthia R. Melander, step-brother; Marcos Rivera, step sister; Jessica R. Jones, and best friends; John Wolbrecht, Debbie Zaeske, Mary Estes, Jane Willis Hoffman, and William Johnson. Numerous of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Jesse was loved and admired by so many people. His happiest moments were spend surrounded by his family and friends. He loved playing his guitar and tuning up the volume to Country and Christian music. He loved the beach soaring some sun during the summer in Galveston. He loved gardening, enjoyed many travel trips all over the U.S.A., with his mother, and best friends. Those who knew Jesse would describe him as a loving individual, whose kindness knew no bounds. His ability to connect with others, was the cornerstone of countless cherished friendships. The void left by Jesse's departure is immeasurable, yet his family takes solace in legacy of love and kindness he leaves behind. As we say farewell to Jesse Anthony Rivera Jr. we celebrate the remarkable life he lived and countless lives he touched. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. A testament to the profound impact, a single gentle soul can have on the world. Jesse, you will be dearly missed, but never for gotten.

10a.m.-1p.m.- Visitation to be held at Texas Funeral Home, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. With a prayer to be recited at 11:30a.m.

All services will conclude at 1p.m.
