I didn't know Jessi very well, but I did know he was a good person. He was a great football player and was hard-working. He will be dearly missed, and it breaks my heart to hear what happened. I'll be praying for Jessi's family. Much love to his family and friends.

Jessie "The JellyBean" Medina #70. Jessie was a great student-athlete who has been taken away for his mother, father, siblings, family, friends and fellow teammates and coaches at Needville High school/ community. A young student- athlete that was taken away before we were ready to see him at this point in his life time. He faced a lot of challenges but when he was on the football field he was in the place and play a dominant role at his position at offensive guard, tackle or in the heavy package. I nicknamed him "JellyBean" because everyone love him and like the jellybean everyone has their favorite color or different flavors. His presence touched the people in circle in a different way or manner as a friend, teacher, teammate or coaches. My prayers, blessings and condolences to his parents, siblings, and others who are struggling with this devastating loss. Revise in a coach´s word to support the everyone in the fallen student-athlete tragic death
