Jessica Leigh McGuire

1978 - 2025

Jessica Leigh McGuire, 47, of Knob Noster MO died March 5th, 2025. Jessica McGuire, daughter of Jodale Doelling and Tim Doelling, and Terry Dale Slayton and Joyce Slayton, passed away on March 5th in a car accident on her way to work.

She is survived by her husband Bill "Wellman" McGuire and her three children Kurtis Crutchfield, Faith Zamora and her husband Bradean Zamora, and LeighAnn Crutchfield. She is also survived by her grandson Lucas Zamora, her parents Jodale Doelling, Tim Doelling, Terry Dale Slayton, and Joyce Slayton. She is also survived by her siblings Tricia Odneal and her partner Ryan Upjohn and Terry Slayton and his wife Cindy Slayton.

Jessica was born February 18th, 1978. She grew up in Independence Missouri and later moved to Grain Valley Missouri where she graduated and shortly after married her high school sweetheart Mike Crutchfield. She spent the next several years as a military wife raising her three children. Later in life she met her husband Bill and remarried before being inspired by being a military wife to continue to help people by getting her CNA license.

Jessica worked as a CNA for over ten years and enjoyed making people smile and laugh. She loved to be there for people in their time of need. She also enjoyed baking her perfect chocolate chip cookies, making her beaded jewelry, playing with her grandson, and cheering loudly for her chiefs. She enjoyed making custom Chiefs denim jean jackets and making clothing. If she could have spent forever in her Jeep she would have. Her favorite thing to do was to go Duck other Jeeps with the love of her life, her grandson Lucas. She will be greatly missed and was deeply loved.

Preceded in death by her Grandparents Daniel and Hazel Slayton. As well as her Uncle James Patterson and grandmother, Wilma Doelling.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at Players Lounge Banquet Hall in Warrensburg, Missouri.
