Jessica Witteman Nathans (born Jessica Margaret Witteman) died peacefully in her sleep on June 24, 2021, in Everett, WA, at age 95.

Known as "Jessie" to Arizona friends, she loved her bridge group and bible study friends. An avid gardener, she could often be seen in her garden entertaining friends and neighbors. Jessie raised two sons and enjoyed her early life in Pittsburgh with her husband of 50 years, until David S. Nathans passed away in 1999. In recent years, Jessie lived with her older son, Joe, and supervised wife Kathy"s herb garden pursuits.Jessie was a long-standing member of the Mukilteo Presbyterian Church and enjoyed the fellowship of the Wednesday bible study group.Jessie is survived by her sons: Joseph W. Nathans (wife Kathleen) of Washington and Mark G. Nathans (wife Colleen) of Arizona; two adult granddaughters, Jennifer Nathans of Seattle, WA, and Lisa Nathans of Silver Spring, MD.
