Jessica A. Oothoudt, 44, of Leominster, MA passed away on October 6, 2022, at the UMass Memorial HealthAlliance Hospital in Leominster.
She was born on November 13, 1977, daughter of Jean-Marc and Alana Michaud in Leominster, MA. Jess grew up in Worcester County and attended local schools. She grew her independence at a young age with the birth of her first child, Randy. She earned her high school credentials shortly after welcoming her daughter, Kora. After Kora was born, Jess spent some time traveling south along the East Coast where she had her youngest son, Austin.
Jessica graduated Magna Cum Laude in accounting from Nashua Technical College in 2003. Later moving back to the south to own and operate Liberty Tax Service in NC. She loved living in this part of the United States and was able to exercise her inner entrepreneur during the years she spent in the South.
After moving back north to be closer to her family, she did a variety of work in the healthcare industry, including hospice care where she recently held a management position for four years.
She was a lover of music and always enjoyed attending concerts or having her own concert on a long car ride with her children. Jessica will always be remembered for her sense of style and ability to keep up with fashion trends. She was an extraordinary pet parent and had rescued many dogs through Compassion Without Borders over the years.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jean-Marc Michaud.
Jessica is survived by her mother, Alana Michaud of Venice, FL, her partner of 16 years, Dave Mcaloney, her sons; Randy Michaud of Fayetteville, NC and Austin Michaud of San Diego, CA, her daughter, Kora Michaud of Swanzey, NH, her siblings; Ian and Emily Michaud of Ashburnham, MA, Ryan Michaud of Findlay, OH, Peter Michaud of Philadelphia, PA and Natalie Michaud of Cridersville, OH, her three grandchildren; Kassidy, Mason and Addyson, her beloved dog Jerry, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Levin's Hall on Ripple Beach; 15 Blueberry Road Ashburnham, MA 01430.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Jessica’s memory to the Good Neighbor Fund.
