Jessica Lea Scott, 50, of Mancelona, passed away October 28 in Traverse City. Jessica was born July 21, 1973 in Traverse city to James L. Youmans and Alice E. (Horner) Watrous.
Jessica enjoyed gardening, especially her rose gardens, as well as butterflies. She loved her pets, art, kayaking, and spending time around the lake. But most of all, Jessica loved her family.
Surviving Jessica are her children Alic Youmans (Ben Oltman) of Omaha, NE, Matthew Scott of Kalkaska, Gage Scott of Omaha, NE, and Austin Scott of Lake, MI, granddaughter Addison Scott, parents James L. Youmans (Tressa Fuller) of East Jordan and Alice E. (Russ) Watrous of Bellaire, siblings Rebecca Buck of Traverse City, Jennifer Youmans of Mancelona, Michael (Jessica) Butler of Bellaire, step-siblings Jason (Holly) Arnold of East Jordan, Garry Arnold II of Traverse City, Jessica (Ben) Manning of Mancelona, Jessica Pemberton of LA, grandmother Betty Horner-Pinkham, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Thomas and Florence (Barber) Youmans of Central Lake, and Robert Horner, as well as nephew David Buck.
Funeral Services will take place Thursday, November 2, at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Gary Bekkering will officiate. Interment will take place at Southern Cemetery following the Funeral.
