Jessie Lynne (Germain) Carrier, 41, of Colchester died unexpectedly on Friday March 3, 2023. Jessie was born in Burlington on December 5, 1981 to Michael Germain Sr. and Cathy Williams. She attended and graduated from Burlington High School.
Jessie was married to Megan M. Carrier of Sandgate, VT in 2014. Jessie and Megan had one child together in 2018. Even though the marriage didn't last, they remained the best of friends and shared a special love. Jessie is survived by her father Michael Germain Sr, brother Michael Germain Jr, brother Adam Kenyon, sister Amber Russell, children Lexi Germain, Kerriyonna Germain, Phoenyx Carrier, step-son Austin Carrier, special nephew Trevor Germain, and many nephews and nieces.
Jessie was predeceased by her mother Cathy Williams in 1994 after an accidental death at the Huntington Gorge. She also lost her first daughter Katrina when she was just an infant.
Jessie never had it easy but she was a fighter. It took a lot of courage and strength to overcome some of the battles that she did. She had a lifelong struggle with addiction. She had dreamed one day to give back and be able to counsel those with Substance Use Disorder. She wanted nothing more than to be proof that "Recovery is Possible." Jessie wanted to prove to herself, her kids, and the world that she could do it.
Jessie loved animals with a passion, movies especially horror, music, going to the yearly fairs, riding bikes, and to spend time with friends and loved ones. She was a spit fire with the most gorgeous blue eyes and would always put a smile on your face. She touched so many lives and had no idea. She will be missed dearly.
