Jessie Myhren Obituary
Jessie Myhren, 96, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Sunday June 30, 2024. Born in Englewood, NJ, Jessie was raised and lived in Bergen County, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 1984. Jessie was a telephone operator for NJ Bell. She enjoyed, singing, reading, crocheting, and bowling with her league. She was a member of the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in New Gretna where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
Jessie was predeceased by her husband Ralph Myhren, son W. Scott Myhren, and parents George and Jessie Frederick.
She is survived by her daughter Gail Prowitz and husband Carl of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, grandchildren Kyle Prowitz, Lindsay Pine and husband Jason, Keith Prowitz and wife Mandy, Craig Myhren and wife Elayane, Kirsten Blepp and husband Joshua, Allison Stapleberg and husband Chris, Corey Myhren, and great-grandchildren Nicholas, Nate, Teagan, Amy, Joshua, Leland, Ryan, Zander, and Lani.
Visitation will be held on Monday July 8, 2024 from 930-11am with service beginning at 11am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Tuckerton, NJ.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Jessie’s honor to The Salvation Army.
