Funeral services for Jessie Mae Oxford, 87, of Ratliff City, are set for 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Ratliff City Baptist Church, with Rev. Roger Sims officiating. Interment will follow at Alma Cemetery. The arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City.
Jessie was born on July 23, 1938, in Comanche, OK, to Mr. Elbert Cecil Fletcher and Mrs. Ara Arvilla (Barton) Fletcher. She passed away on February 4, 2026, in Duncan, OK.
Raised in the Countyline area, Jessie attended school at Alma and graduated from Velma High School. On February 16, 1957, she married Mr. Roy Lee Oxford in Duncan, establishing a home in Alma where they operated "Oxford Dairy" for over 40 years. Jessie was an active member of the Hennepin Baptist Church and found joy in cooking for the Falls Creek events. She had a passion for hummingbirds, cherished family gatherings, and delighted in attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy, her daughter Carla Mae, and her five siblings: J.T., Leroy, Edna, Ava Ray, and Billy.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Glenn; sons, Charles "Chuck" Oxford and his wife Peggi, and Bob Oxford; grandchildren, Allen Glenn and fiancée Diamond, Brenda Vanoven and husband Shannon, and Jerica Todd and husband Josh; great-grandchildren, Kassidee, Paislee, Mabree, Tyler, Karson, James, Payton, Braylin and fiancée Hayden, Brandon and wife Ashlyn, Wesson, and Carter; her sister-in-law, Pat Martin; and numerous nieces, nephews, along with a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Allen Glenn, Dan Fletcher, Shannon Vanoven, Brenda Vanoven, Bryan Castor, Tyler Trusty.
Honorary bearers are Josh Todd and James Hoover.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City.
