Jessie Smith III, a long-time employee at UPS, passed away on June 11, 2024, in Dallas, TX, the city where he was born on June 3, 1956. His dedication to his work at UPS left a lasting impact on those around him.
Known his commitment and hard work, Jessie was a familiar face at UPS where he contributed significantly during his tenure. His colleagues remember him as a reliable hardworking individual who always went above and beyond in his role. Outside of work, Jessie was a "home body" who found joy in simple pleasures. He had a variety of interests that brought him happiness, such as playing bingo and softball. One of his great passions was being part of a Volkswagen club; he truly loved Volkswagen cars and the camaraderie that came with being in the club.
Jessie will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Services to honor and celebrate Jessie's life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. The visitation will take place on June 19, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will follow the next day, June 20, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM.
