Smith, Jessie Lorene (Nanny) a loving mother and grandmother, age 81 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.F. Sr. & Iza Tindell; brothers, Virgil & Edward Tindell; sisters, Gladys Roddy & Edith Baldwin; grandson, Charles Richard "Chad" Smith. She is survived by her devoted children, Charles Lowell Smith and wife, Debbie of Maryville, Terri Lynn Monaghan and husband, Neill of Maryville; 2 grandchildren, Corey Scott Smith and wife, Elizabeth, Tammi L. Smith; brother, Adrain Francis Tindell of Salt Lake City, UT; sisters, Bernice Keller & Marie Young both of Maryville; several nieces & nephews. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, hospice & staff of Blount Memorial Hospital. The family & friends will assemble at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Grandview Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Pastor Dan Chambers officiating.
