It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jessie May Storms, 67, of Depauw, Indiana, on Thursday, May 22, 2025. She was the cornerstone of her family, a devoted wife, a loving mother and a cherished mamal. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in all of her family and they will forever cherish her memory and countless ways she touched their lives.
She was born on June 14, 1957 in Elwood, Indiana to Demon Sexton and the late Jessie Wagner Sexton. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Lee Storms.
Jessie is survived by her children, Tim (Melanie) Storms Jr., Jessie (Donald) Thomas, and Dorothy Denton; father, Demon Sexton; siblings, Jr. Wayne Sexton, Candy (Kevin) Brown, and Benny Brown; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louden's Chapel in Depauw, Indiana.
