Joseph David Harding, affectionately known as "Dave," passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on November 25, 1956, in New Albany, Indiana, Dave lived a life rich with creativity, passion, and love for his family.
Dave was a gifted woodworker. He took immense pride in building the cabinets in his home, a testament to his dedication and skill. Beyond woodworking, he had a profound interest in cars and trucks, nurturing a collection that reflected his enthusiasm for all things automotive.
Dave is survived by his children, Amanda Harding, Matthew (Jialita) Harding, and Melissa (Isaac) Gwin. He was a grandfather to ten grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Elliott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Harding and Rosa (Harpe) Harding, along with his beloved wife, Julia Ann (Donahoe) Harding.
Cremation was chosen following Dave's wishes and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
