Jesus Camarillo, 91, of Apopka, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025. He was born on December 14, 1933, in Gómez Palacio, Durango, Mexico.
A longtime resident of Apopka, Jesus was known for his dedicated work as a welder and for the deep love he had for his family and community. He was a man who found joy in simple pleasures — cooking delicious meals, especially seafood and grilled fish, dancing with those he loved, and spending time surrounded by family and friends. His warmth and laughter were constants in the lives of many.
Jesus was a faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where he found strength and community throughout the years.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Isabel Camarillo. The two were married on August 31, 1955, in Georgetown, Texas, and built a beautiful life together. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Ramona (Molina) and son Julian Camarillo.
Jesus is survived by his children: Jesus Camarillo Jr., Elida (Rivera), and Santos Camarillo, all of Apopka, and Maribel Camarillo of Orlando. His legacy lives on through them and the many lives he touched with his kindness and spirit.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Apopka on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Apopka following the service.
Jesus Camarillo will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love he gave, the joy he shared, and the life he lived so fully.
