Jesus Gonzalez Obituary
EDINBURG - Jesus V. Gonzalez, 76, went to be with our Lord on Friday, February 27, 2026, in Houston. Mr. Gonzalez was preceded in death by his parents, Ernesto and Maria Gonzalez Villarreal; his three siblings, Rosalva Gonzalez, Ernesto Gonzalez Jr., and Gloria Gonzalez.
Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Rogelia G. Gonzalez; five daughters, Marilu (Javier) Leyva, Viane (Daniel) Sustaita, Ruby (Juan) Rodriguez, Jessica (Noe) Peña, and Cristal (Valentin) Nava; fourteen grandchildren, Javier, Jesus, Kaylov, Anahi, Anibal, Daniel, Thelmo, Jayleen, Belen, Nayeli, Noe, Celeste, Gael, and Odalys; six great-grandchildren; three siblings, Ubaldo Gonzalez, Josefa Benavides, and Rosalva Benavides; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
