Jesus Rubio, 53, a lifelong resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. He was born on February 17, 1972, in Texas City, Texas, to his loving parents, Ramiro and Lucina Rubio.
Jesus dedicated his career to the Food Service Management industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and warm personality. Beyond his professional life, he was a devoted father, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Juan Rubio.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved children: daughters, Jacquelin Rubio and Jasmin Rubio; son, Jesus Rubio, Jr.; sister, Lisa Davis; nieces, Seally and Savanna Davis; brother-in-law, Joe Davis; and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
He shared 20 years of marriage with Irma Rubio and together they raised three beloved children: Jackie, Jasmin, and Junior Rubio. Though no longer married, their love never faded-they remained close and devoted to one another until the end.
In his free time, Jesus enjoyed playing bingo, a pastime that brought him joy, laughter, and lasting memories with friends and family. It was one of the many ways he connected with others and found simple happiness in everyday life.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. A rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., also at Crowder Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jasmin Rubio, Jacquelin Rubio, Seally Davis, Savanna Davis, Alejandro Alvarez, and Juan Alvarez.
Jesus will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering dedication to his family, his love of bingo, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten.
