Jettie Rose Brand McCarver

Jettie Rose McCarver passed away peacefully in her home on November 12, 2025, surrounded by her family at the age of 85. She was born July 11, 1940, in Corona, Alabama to the late Henderson and Minnie (Milligan) Brand of Berry, Alabama. Jettie worked hard to provide for her "5 Brats" as she lovingly called them. Jettie worked manufacturing medical equipment until retiring at 62. She loved to watch the Alabama Crimson Tide play, never failing to cheer on her team with a "Roll Tide"! Though she loved spending time with her family, she thrived and loved living independently. She was so funny and had such a great smile. She danced every chance she got, reminding us "if don't use it, you lose it." She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Ray Brand and Hosea Brand; and daughter, Karen Stump. Jettie was survived by her children, Cyndi Knight (Steve), Robert Hall, Angela Hernandez (Richard), Liza Scott, and her daughter at heart, Ruth Foy (Hall). She leaves quite the legacy of 14 grandchildren; Darrell, Michael, Christina, Lindsay, Daniel, Matthew, Jessica, Brittany, Rachel, Bobby, Joshua, Aaron, Shannon and Hannah; 15 great-grandchildren with 2 more expected soon; and 1 great-great grandchild. She also leaves brothers, Norland (Mary) Brand and Bud (Vicky) Brand; sisters, Sue Lackinger and Judy Kimbrell, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Florida Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 S. Hwy. 29, Cantonment, Florida 32533. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of service. Light food and beverages provided. Alabama Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Bevan Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 21955 AL-18, Berry, Alabama 35546-2519. The burial will immediately follow services in Bevan Chapel Cemetery. Please note any plants/arrangements received at Faith Chapel are welcome but will not be able to be transported to the Alabama funeral.
