Jewel Ann Dailey, 76, of Pine River, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Jewel was born on April 19, 1949, in Chatfield, Minnesota, where she grew up and built the foundation of the caring, hardworking woman she would become. On December 5, 1964, she married the love of her life, Warren Dailey, in Iowa, with Warren Harding Dailey and William Finley as witnesses. Together, they shared many wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and adventure. In 1979, they made their home in Pine River, where they raised their family and created countless cherished memories.
Jewel’s life was centered around her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved—hosting family gatherings, sharing stories, and having sleepovers with her grandchildren, who adored her warmth and gentle spirit.
An avid gardener, Jewel’s yard was always alive with vibrant flowers and bountiful vegetables, a reflection of the care and love she poured into everything she touched. She also spent several years alongside her husband as a long-haul truck driver, forming a remarkable team that saw the country together and built a lifetime of memories on the open road.
Jewel is survived by her daughters, Kim Dailey-Schnoor (Tim) and Missi Anderson (David); sons, Warren Dailey Jr. (Dawn) and Stacy Dailey (Cindy); 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one brother; and one sister. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Warren Dailey; two granddaughters, Cheryl Dailey and Marina Schrupp; three brothers; and both of her parents.
Jewel will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the love she shared so freely. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace.
A celebration of Jewel’s life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Brenny Funeral Home in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, with visitation beginning one hour prior. A luncheon will follow the service. Interment of ashes will take place after the luncheon for those who wish to attend, at Norwood Cemetery in Pine River, Minnesota.
