Jewel Moore

Jewell BeEtta Moore, 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at CarePartners
Hospice Solace Center in Asheville, North Carolina. She was born September 27, 1962, in
Asheville to the late Terry Moore Sr. and Jeanette (Cathey) Moore.

Jewell grew up in Asheville and was a 1981 graduate of Asheville High School. She later earned an associate's degree from
A-B Tech and a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Strayer University.
Jewell was a longtime resident of Greenville, South Carolina, and dedicated her career to serving
others. She especially enjoyed her work at Care Focus, helping adults with disabilities. Helping
others came naturally to Jewell, and she was always willing to lend a hand to friends and those
around her.

Jewell's friends remember her as a loyal and supportive person who believed deeply in family.
She was a true confidant and rock for those she loved, always encouraging and pushing you if
she believed in you. She loved opera and symphony music and was often the life of the party.
Jewell also had a deep love for animals and shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Sheba.

She is survived by her siblings, Pamela Camp (Edward), Renee Michelle Joyner (Albert), Terry
Moore Jr. (Donna), and Natalie Moore (Doug); her nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Daniel,
Krystle, Ebony, Nizam, and Fanaye; and many extended family members and friends.
The family sincerely appreciates all prayers, kind words, and expressions of sympathy during
this time. Service arrangements will be announced.
