Keith Dewayne Morrison

Keith Dewayne Morrison passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

A native of Asheville, he was the beloved son of the late Clazelle Morrison and Christine (Waddell) Morrison.

Keith was a proud graduate of Asheville High School and later earned an Associate's Degree from Interactive College of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. He worked faithfully at the Marriott Hotel for many years until his retirement, where he was known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and willingness to serve others.

Keith was the definition of a servant leader. He had a generous heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand; whether it was family, friends, or even strangers. His life reflected humility, compassion, and quiet strength.

Everyone who crossed paths with Keith knew how deeply he loved his family. His greatest pride and joy were his daughter and grandson. He treasured time spent with them and spoke of them often.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Clazelle Morrison (Tamara). Those left to cherish his loving memory include his daughter, Kristi Varnado (Dale); grandson, Carter Varnado; sister, Donna Ray (Jesse); brothers, Thomas Gibson, Grady Morrison (Rosemary) and Wilbert Morrison (Catherine), Danny and Ronald Morrison; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins, and dear friends.
