Roberta Marvels

Roberta Marvels gained her wings into eternal life on February 4, 2026.

Roberta Marvels was born June 4, 1953 in Abbeville County, South Carolina (Due West). She
was the daughter of the late Nannie Klugh Wright and the late Dedrick Eugene Wright, Sr.

Leaving to cherish her memories are, her husband, Michael Marvels, her children, Tre Allen and
Jeremy Allen, her grandchildren Alexis Allen and Zoe Cafalone-Allen, her brothers Carnell
(Lucille) Wright and Howard Wright, her sister Betty (Michael) Manigo, and several beloved
nieces and nephews.

Roberta Marvels, a devoted wife, beloved mother and grandmother, and a woman whose faith
shaped every part of her life, passed away surrounded by her family. For 30 years, she served
in the Administration Office of Asheville City Schools, where she was known for her
professionalism, steady presence, and genuine care for the people she worked alongside.

Roberta dedicated 25 years of service as a member and administrator at Faith Tabernacle,
offering her time and talents with humility and devotion before joining Love Story Church near
her South Carolina Home. Her love for Jesus was evident in the way she lived - she walked
her faith with sincerity, humility, and unwavering devotion. Roberta didn't just speak her faith,
she lived it, every day.

She was a faithful friend, a woman who loved her family deeply, and someone whose presence
brought warmth and encouragement to everyone she met. Known for her impeccable style,
Roberta was always dressed to the nines, carrying herself with grace that matched the beauty
of her character.

She was a woman of remarkable strength and independence, qualities that she passed on to
her children, her grandchildren, and all who looked up to her. She leaves behind a legacy of
faith, strength, and love that will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.
