Jewell Hamner

Jewell was born on February 18, 1920 and passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Jewell was a resident of Griffin, Georgia at the time of passing. She moved to Griffin when she was in the fifth grade and was an honor graduate of Spalding High School. The visitation for Jewell Rebecca Green Hamner will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Union Baptist Church, N. McDonough Rd, Griffin, GA. A funeral service will follow in the Sanctuary of the church at 3:00 pm. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, 9 Jenkinsburg Rd., Griffin, GA. Visitation at the Union Baptist Church from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on February 23, 2019. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Union Baptist Church, 1405 N. McDonough Rd.
