We grew up together in Avenal, CA, she was one of my closest friends. The first time I had corn tortillas and drank a Coke was at her house :) She'd tell me you need to come over we're having tortillas again. She was also in my wedding. I'm very glad that I was able to see her last May at our 60th class reunion. Such a sweet, pretty and genuine lady. She will be greatly missed.

Jewell and I grew up together in Avenal California, we went to school together and have stayed friends. Was happy to see her last May when we all got together in Avenal for our 60th class reunion. She was a sweet lady and we will all miss her. RIP

Jewell was my next door neighbor when we were growing up in Avenal, Ca. We played many games of hop scotch, jacks and looking through the catalogs picking out what we wanted if we were rich.(Montgomery Ward & Sears)Lol. She was always the same after we started growing up. Beautiful inside and out. May you rest in our Saviors arms. Always Susie Sutterfield
