Jia Ying Chen

Jia Ying Chen, age 15, of Mason, went to be with God on May 22, 2025, surrounded by the family who cherished her every moment. She was born on June 22, 2009, in New York, New York, and was a beloved daughter of Min and Ying.

Jia’s life, though far too short, was filled with grace, joy, and a quiet strength that inspired everyone who knew her. Jia is deeply loved and will be forever missed by her parents, Min and Ying , her grandparents, extended family, and the many friends whose lives were touched by her kindness.

Jia was a cheerful, gentle,considerate, strong, and brave young girl. She loved trying delicious foods, singing, dancing, making crafts, and playing family board games and video games.

She also loved studying different types of stones. She enjoyed learning math and science and had a passion for creating her own music. Jia dreamed of becoming a geologist when she grew up.

Her laughter filled our lives with happiness, and she brought endless joy to our family. We loved her dearly. She will be profoundly missed but will forever remain in our hearts. We cherish every moment we shared with Jia and are grateful for the joyful times we had together.

A visitation was held on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH.

Following the service, Jia will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery.
