Jill Jeanine Edge Butler, 60, of Bladenboro heard the call to go home with Jesus in the morning hours of Tuesday, October 21, 2025. She was reunited with her beloved parents, J.T. Edge and Doris Ann Williams and the love of her life, husband Robert Livingston Butler.
Jill was a compassionate, soft-spoken lady who loved the Lord and her family. They were her life. She enjoyed nothing better than going to church, spending time spoiling her grandchildren, reading, and doing word puzzles. She was the light of the home, so it was fitting that Jill had a passion for light houses. Her love shone bright in her sweet disposition, unwavering faith, and dedication to all those she held so dear.
She leaves behind one son Adam Butler of Bladenboro, four daughters, Christina Hester (Eric) of Bladenboro, Robin Roy (Justin) of Bladenboro, Amanda Johnson (William) of Elizabethtown, and Michelle Butler of Bladenboro, siblings J.T. Edge, Tammy Edge, and Diann Carroll, 13 grandsons, Caleb, Dalton, Little Eric, Steven, Juston, Freddie, Jason, Joshua, William III, Dylan, Wyatt, Nathan, and Jeff and one granddaughter, Jessi.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Faith Fellowship Holiness Church in Bladenboro followed by a funeral service at 3 pm with the Reverend Johnny Causey officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Singletary Cemetery in Bladenboro.
At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Christina Hester, 204 Britt Street, Bladenboro, NC 28320.
