Jill Jackson, 78, passed away on August 4, 2023, in Winter Haven, FL.
Jill Jackson was born on May 5, 1945 in Newport News, VA, to Aubrey W. Carter, Sr. and Belvia G. Carter. Jill graduated from Hampton High School.
She worked in many different fields including, Office Manager, Bar Owner and Cook. She also worked as an Electrician in the Central Florida area for over 10 years and one of her proudest accomplishments was being part of the electrical team in building the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Jill shared her life with Don Brewer of Orlando for more than 30 years. They shared their time together boating on the river, fishing, raising their pigs Barbeque and Bacon, caring for her doves and camping with their beloved Golden Retriever, Smokey. Jill was proud to be the oldest of all of her siblings.
Jill is survived by daughter Bridget White and son-in-law Travis White of OK; son Daniel Rearick and daughter-in-law Tina Marie Ortz of OH; son Chris Jackson and daughter-in-law Kim Gili of FL; brother Phillip Carter; sister Anita Crust and brother-in-law Dan Crust of PA; grandkids Samantha Rupp, Michael Rupp, Zachary Rupp, Zack White, Abbey White, Lucas Rearick and Logan Rearick; great grand-daughters Tylee Rupp, Gracie Henley and Cecilia Towler.
Jill is preceded in death by life partner Don Brewer, her parents Aubrey W. and Belvia G. Carter Sr., son Baby Boy Rearick, siblings Audrey, Aubrey Jr., Vance, Percy and Billy.
Visitation for Jill Jackson will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 starting at 1:00 PM with Memorial Services following at 3:00 PM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32806. Following the services at the funeral home, Jill's family is inviting everyone to The Waterfront Seafood Restaurant, 4201 S. Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32086, for food, fellowship and to share stories of Jill's life with family and friends.
