Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Service - BismarckJill (Kalberer) Nelson, 45 of Lake Havasu City, AZ passed away September 16, from a brain aneurysm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00AM, Thursday, October 9 at Pro-Cathedral of St Mary, 825 E Broadway Ave, Bismarck, ND.
Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.
Jill Marie was born in Bismarck, on March 2, 1980 to Dennis and Judy (Barton) Kalberer. She grew up in Hazelton, ND and graduated from Hazelton Moffit Braddock High School in 1999. Following graduation, Jill worked at Sykes, had a home daycare, worked in the food industry and CenturyLink. Jill attended Bismarck State College.
Jill loved animals. She raised and showed beef steers as a 4-H project. She always had a pet cat or dog and at one time a chinchilla. Jill will be missed by her three cats; Olaf, Malibu and Blue. She loved to garden, cook and participate in any outdoor activity. Jill enjoyed watching football and was a true San Francisco 49ers fan!
Jill married the love of her life Perry Nelson on May 13, 2019 and they made their home in Bismarck. After Perry passed away on June 13, 2020, Jill and their daughter Bree moved to Lake Havasu City. Jill could not get enough of the warm weather and loved living in AZ.
Jill will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Mariah (Cye) Kluck and Bree Ann Nelson; grandson, Cody Kluck; stepdaughter, Jordyn (Joanna) Nelson; parents, Dennis and Judy Kalberer; sister, Tracy (Tim) Walters; brother, Kevin Kalberer; sisters-in-law, Shelly (Jack) Kallenbach and Nikki (Rob) Schneider and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jill was a complete organ donor. Only 1 in 300,000 donors are complete and with that could have possibly saved as many as 100 lives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Central Dakota Humane Society, 2104 37th St, Mandan, 58554 or a charity/organization of the individuals choice.
