ARIZONA / FRANKLIN – Jill Chaffee Pigeon, age 61, passed away on Monday, September 22nd, 2025 in Arizona.
Jill was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and gentle spirit. Born and raised in Vermont, Jill touched the lives of many with her caring nature and selfless devotion to those around her. She received her degree in health and human sciences. She is a cancer survivor of 24 years. She had a vibrant soul and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She was very devoted to raising her family and caring for them. Her love for the outdoors drew her to the beauty of nature. A passionate fan of the home shopping Network, especially QVC, Jill delighted in discovering unique treasures, especially her turquoise jewelry. During the holiday season, her soul shone brightly, as she cherished the Christmas spirit, and watched hallmark movies. Her grandson Liam was the light of her life, she enjoyed making sure he had anything he needed.
Jill is survived by her children, Zachary Pigeon and Eva Rainville; grandson, Liam; sister Joan and her husband, John; brothers, Jody Chaffee and Justin Chaffee; nieces and nephews, Josie, Caleb, Grace, Dylan, Trevor, and Jett. Jill was predeceased by her parents, Marshall and Doreen Chaffee; sister, Joy and niece, Jorie.
Friends and family will be invited to Jill’s life celebration to include visitation on Friday, October 24th, 2025 from 5-6:00PM PM at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton, VT 05488.
