Jill Rieger Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 23, 2012.
Jill M. Rieger (nee Moldt) age 81, of Woodbury was carried to the Lord on December 23, 2012 Legacy Devoted to her family and her faith, Jill felt no greater pleasure than being with family and dear friends, especially during the Christmas season. Jill was born and raised in Iowa, and once meeting Bill, she moved to NJ and they became inseparable. Nothing meant more to Jill then spending most of her time caring for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, spending summers at the Little Oaks Campground and crabbing in the bay with the grandkids. Jill was the matriarch of the family, with many roles which she loved including homemaker, nurse, taxi driver, seamstress, and somehow found the time to enjoy the ladies of the Twin Club, close neighbors and friends. Jill participated in the Walnut Street School PTA, the Woodbury Little League Concessions and the Walnut Street School Concessions on the lower level of the Woodbury High School Football Field and more. Before computers, Jill was faithful in keeping contact with her Iowa family through daily regular mail and eventually moved to the internet and Facebook. Family Beloved wife of nearly 60 years to the late William E. Sr.; Devoted mother of Bill (Kathy), Mary Donaldson (Richard), Kathy Huntley (Bob), Terri Donaldson (Bruce), Joe (Tina), and Mark (Karen); Loving grandmother of 14; Adoring great grandmother of four with two angels on the way; Cherished aunt to many spreading from here to California. Farewell Ceremony Viewing is Saturday 9:00 – 11:45 AM at Holy Angels Parish Center, 96 Green Ave., Woodbury, NJ 08096; Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 pm; Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
