Jill Talley Obituary
Mrs. Talley was born August 15, 1972 to Paul and Dot Womble in Durham, NC. She was employed at Duke Regional Hospital for over 30 years. Mrs. Talley enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing at Disney World and traveling to the Caribbean. She will be remembered as a loving and dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt.
Mrs. Talley is preceded in death by her father, Paul E. Womble, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Annie and Somner Cole; paternal grandparents, Paul and Ruth Womble.
Mrs. Talley is survived by her husband of 28 years, Steve Talley; daughter, Lauren Talley; mother, Dot C. Womble; brother, Todd Womble (Cindy), nephews, Aaron Womble and Noah Womble; niece Gabriella Ellis; father-in-law, Evie Talley; brother-in-law, Pat Ellis (Martha); Uncles and Aunts, Freddie Cole, Judy and Mike Erdesky and Linda Cole and her beloved dogs, Peanut and Bruiser.
No services will be held at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to National Alliance of Mental Illness, https://donate.nami.org/ or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

DEAR FAMILY, I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT MY FRIEND JILL. SHE WAS ONE OF THE SWEETEST LADIES THAT I HAD EVER MET. SHE ALWAYS HAD THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE. WE USED TO MEET AT THE TIME CLOCK CLOCKING OUT TO GO HOME. WE WOULD ALWAYS TELL EACH OTHER TO BE CAREFUL GOING HOME. SHE WILL BE MISSED BY HER FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS. Jilly....I don´t even know how we will ever be the same without your..."we should, we could, we need to, don´t you think....." first thing in the morning. You kept us straight even when we didn´t know we needed you to! You always came when I called and will forever be missed. I´m so sad I didn´t take the time to check on you like I should have. We were all praying for you and missed you tons and will forever as long as we walk the halls of DRH!! We aren´t a perfect team but you were integral to its success. May you find the peace you were in search of, and may you rest in heavenly peace, flying with Angels. - Thank you for being so willing to offer a hand, though when I'd see you at 6am, you were exhausted and about ready to head home for some sleep. Your selflessness, knowledge, and advice will resonate through this Pharmacy for years to come.
