Deborah Jean Glenn, 68, of Creedmoor passed away on December 3, 2025, at Duke University Hospital in Durham. She was born in Durham on June 27, 1957, to the late Coy Marshall and Betty Sherron Glenn which survives her.
In addition to her father, she is predeceased by a daughter Stacey Lane Wheeler.
Mrs. Glenn is survived by her son Shane Wheeler and wife Amanda of Bolivia, NC; daughter, Stephanie Wheeler Holland and husband Russell of Newland, NC; brother, Carl “Wally” Glenn and wife Gail of Rougemont, NC; grandchildren, Dakota Pierce and wife Hayley, Hali Wheeler, Troy Holland and Brayden Clemmons; great granddaughter, Aelin Rae Pierce.
Deborah loved her family dearly and cherished every moment spent with them. She especially enjoyed trips to the beach, where she found peace and happiness. A fan of Carolina Beach music, she often filled her home and her car with the songs she loved. Throughout her career, she worked as an administrative secretary for various employers.
Deborah was an avid Duke fan. She also enjoyed NASCAR racing, cheering passionately for the Earnhardt family over the years. Her joyful spirit, loyalty, and the many memories she created will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Hudson Funeral Home from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Deborah’s memory to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
