It is with great sadness that the family of Jillian M. Ennis announces her unexpected passing in her home on Monday March 7, 2022.
Jillian was born June 19, 1979, in Ashland.
Jillian graduated from the former Cardinal Brennan High School in 1997, attended Mansfield University and graduated from St. Joseph Hospital in Hazleton with a degree in radiation technology. She worked for Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, as an MRI technologist.
Jillian was of the Protestant faith and was a member of the Zion Reformed United Church of Christ.
She was a coach for Ashland ABD Cheerleading and for Ashland girls' softball. She was also active with the North Schuylkill Cheer Boosters.
Jillian was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rosemary and Paul Hadesty and Elizabeth and John Hughes.
Jillian is survived by her loving family, husband, Robert C. Ennis and the lights of her life, daughters, Elizabeth Rose and Kaitlyn Jacki; parents, Sandra L. Kane, wife of Michael, Ashland, and John T. Hadesty, husband of Kathy, Gordon; brother, Jonathan T. Hadesty, husband of Candice, Gordon; nephews, Everett Quinn and Kellan Gray; niece, Kinsley Ellis. Jillian is also survived by Robert's family, brother-in-law, John (JJ), Ashland; sister-in-law, Christina (Chrissy), Lewistown; nephew, Alex. She is also survived by a network of friends that can only be described as her second family who stood by her through anything, and we thank them for that.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Zion Reformed United Church, 2400 Centre St., Ashland, PA 17921, with the Rev. Dean Luther officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Brock Cemetery, Ashland. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jill's memory may be made to the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, 2397 Quentin Road, Suite B, Lebanon, PA 17042.
