Jillian Mary Scheyer, affectionately known to her family as Jillie Beans, was born on March 30, 1977, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She passed away on June 19, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky, after a lengthy illness, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering love.
A dedicated personal injury attorney, Jillian was not only a fierce advocate for her clients but also a source of light for those fortunate enough to know her. She was a proud graduate of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, where she honed the skills that would later define her career and life’s work.
Jillian possessed a warmth that drew people in, her infectious laughter echoing in the memories of friends and family alike. She cherished her time spent with loved ones, whether it was indulging in a meal at her favorite dining spots, swimming under the sun, or simply enjoying the loyalty of her beloved pets. Jillian had a special bond with her dog, Gizmo, who had recently passed, and her feline companions, reflecting her nurturing spirit.
The centerpiece of Jillian's life was her daughter, Ava Grace Scheyer, or as Jill affectionately called her, "Gracie Lou Who", who was her pride and joy, the highlight of every day. She poured her love, wisdom, and encouragement into Ava, nurturing a bond that will forever be treasured.
Jillian’s family includes her mother, Patricia (Thomas) Scheyer-Walker (nee Meyers), and her father, William (Karen) Scheyer. She leaves behind her siblings, Sara (Matt) Scheyer-Arnett, Courtney Hunt, John Scheyer, Emily Scheyer, and Corinne (Matt) Hurst; her cherished nephews and nieces, Brandon (Sarah) Scheyer, Matthew Scheyer, Patrick Tucker, Olivia Farmer, Emmaline Farmer, James Farmer, Kaylyn Hurst, Piper "Toby" Hurst, and Gabe "Ash" Hurst; as well as her best friend, Leslie Biggs. Jillian is also survived by her uncles, Robert (Dorothy) Meyers and Daniel Meyers.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William Meyers and Bertie Lou Meyers.
Jillian Mary Scheyer's warmth, laughter, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held in her honor at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky, located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY on June 25, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
