Jim George Obituary

Dr. George was a 1957 graduate of Sylvania High School and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, GA in 1978. He owned and operated the Dade County Chiropractic Center in Trenton for 32 years, retiring to his farm in 2011. Dr. George loved his work by caring for others and giving back to his community. He especially loved the outdoors, gardening, working in the yard, and taking care of his horses, goats and many dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Lydia Murdock George, five brothers & three sisters.
He was a wonderful father to his daughter, Georgianna (Mike) Pollock of Rising Fawn; brother, David George; several nieces & nephews.

A visitation to celebrate the life of Dr. George will be held on Sunday, November 24th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
