James A. Pandorf, known affectionately as Jim by his friends and family, passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 69, in Clifton, NJ, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on February 19, 1956, in Newark, NJ, to the late Raymond and Wilma (nee Slater) Pandorf, Jim grew up with a passion for life that was evident to all who knew him. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but his legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will live on. He resided in Lyndhurst for a short while moving to Belleville where he grew up before moving to Clifton in 1993.
Jim is survived by his devoted wife Lisa M. Pandorf (nee Leccese), and their two cherished daughters, Jayme L. Pandorf and Megan M. Pandorf. He was a beloved brother to William Pandorf and Robin Pandorf, and a fun-loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. His best canine friend Joey, who was always by his side, will also feel the absence of his gentle presence. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dogs, Cody and Kirby, who were like members of the family.
A proud graduate of his local high school, Jim dedicated many years of his life to his work as a transportation manager at the Greater A & P Tea Company. His work ethic and commitment to his role were surpassed only by the love and dedication he showed to his family. Colleagues knew Jim as a man who could always be relied upon, both professionally and personally.
Jim's love for music was a defining aspect of his life, with a particular fondness for The Who, whose songs provided the soundtrack to many memorable moments. Equally passionate about sports, he was an avid fan of the Mets and the Jets, never missing a chance to cheer on his favorite teams. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he often brought family and friends together to share in the excitement of a game.
As we say goodbye to Jim, we remember a man who taught us the importance of family, the joy of music, and the thrill of sports. His legacy is one of love and laughter, of shared moments and unwavering support. He was a beacon of kindness in the lives of all who knew him, and his memory will continue to inspire us to live with the same generosity of spirit that he embodied.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, with a funeral service at 3:45 pm. Private cremation to follow.
