Jim Schee

Celebration of Life Services for Leland James Schee, 85, of Indianola, who passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at home, will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Overton Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Inurnment of cremains will follow services in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Jim is survived by his; daughters, Lisa (Scott) Raney and Sharon (Tom) Newman, Pam (Dennis) Hansen and Teri (Roger) Cooper; grandchildren, Allison Raney, Andrew Raney, Nicki Cooper, Jessica (Kerry) Gabel, Derek (Sarah) Hansen, Sarah Eubank and Keirsten McMillan Gott; great-grandchildren, Aubree Raney, Jesse Gomez, Austen Cooper, Kamri Gabel, Kyndle Gabel, Eda Hansen and Lyla Hansen, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Gail Schee; parents Lewis and Lucille Schee; son, Michael Eubank; siblings, Dean Schee, Ray Schee and Donna Schee.

Memorials in memory of Jim may be given to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Association.
