Jimmie Lee Adams, age 90, of Morehead, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Life Care Center in Morehead.
Born March 14, 1935, in Omar, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Thurman Adams and Mary Mutters Adams. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Sue Wells Adams on February 19, 2017, and five brothers, Jessie, Lawrence, Edwin, Edmund, and Bobby Adams.
Jimmie is survived by his son, Timothy Lee Adams and wife Stephanie of Morehead; three grandchildren, Sharon (David, Jr.) Keeton, Brittany Adams, and Cody Adams; and two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Aiden Keeton.
He is also survived by two sisters, Ilene Powell of Salt Lick and Connie Hamm of Morehead; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Jimmie was a former employee of Carr Lumber and Morehead State University. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Most of all, he loved spending time with family and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jimmie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bobby Tackett, Jr. and Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Cody Adams, Aiden Keeton, Tim Adams, David Keeton, Anthony Johnson, and Mike Ramey.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funeral, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
