Jimmie Humble Ferguson, 76, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, December 3rd, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.
Jimmie was born in Tompkinsville, KY on September 8, 1946, a son of the late Jimmie Humble Ferguson and Lena (Hamilton) Ferguson Moore, and stepson of the late Ernest Moore.
Jimmie was baptized into Christ and worked in construction throughout his life.
Jimmie is survived by three daughters, Shannon Lynn, and husband, Paul, Lisa Shoopman, and husband, Mikey, and Tonya Pratt, and companion, Adam Wood, all of Tompkinsville, KY, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Jimmie is also survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Turner, and husband, Glendell and Sharon Emmert, both of Tompkinsville, KY; four brothers, Tommy Ferguson, and wife, Brenda, of Culleoka, TN; Bobby Ferguson, and wife, Barabra, of Tompkinsville, KY, Richard Ferguson, and wife, JoAnn, of Glasgow, KY and Michael Ferguson, and wife, Mary, of Tompkinsville, KY; three step brothers, Larry Moore, and wife Sandy, Dale Moore, and wife, Brenda, Donald Moore, and wife, Mary, and two step sisters, Sue Copass and Patricia Jarvis and husband Kenny; a special friend, Sandy Simpson.
Other than his parents and stepfather, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Louellen Hammer and Karen Ferguson, brothers, Randall Ferguson, step brother, Lloyd Moore, three nieces, Michelle Ferguson, Candy Ferguson and Anna Chunn, two brother-in-laws, Jeff Emmert and Harvey Hammer, step brother-in-law, Stanley Copass and sister-in-law, Edna Ferguson and step sister-in-law, Evie Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
Visitation is Wednesday morning after 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home
