Jimmie Wakely Geib,78, of York passed away on August 1, 2024. He was born in Lancaster to the late Henry and Marden Geib and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Jimmie attended Columbia High School and worked for Harley Davidson for thirty years and Sam's Club for another ten years. He enjoyed watching wrestling, all things Elvis, and old western movies. Jimmie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who adored his family and treasured spending time with them. He was a faithful member of Pleasureville Christian Church.
Jimmie leaves behind his wife Jane Geib of Columbia; two daughters, Nancy Aughenbaugh of York, Cathy Brundage of Mount Wolf; four grandchildren, Trenton, Devin, Brandy, and Chloe; two brothers, Henry Lee, husband of Sheila Geib of Shrewsbury, Gene, husband of Sylvia Geib of Ephrata. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Johnny Geib.
A celebration of Jimmie's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Pleasureville Christian Church, 2606 N. Sherman St, York, PA 17406. There will be no prior visitation. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Pleasureville Christian Church
